Flowserve’s SIHI Dry vacuum pump line are at work in some of the world’s harshest environments. SIHI Dry vacuum pumps can accommodate corrosive gases and vapors, and has superior resistance to heat-accelerated deposition. SIHI Dry Chemical/Pharmaceutical PD line

SIHI Dry PD pumps are designed for chemical and pharmaceutical markets where an explosion-proof design is required. The PD is a vertically-oriented and self-draining vacuum pump with no mechanical shaft seals. It's an ideal choice for chemically-related processes where there's a high possibility of liquids or solids carry-over. This award-winning solution can accommodate corrosive gases and vapors and has superior resistance to heat-accelerated deposition.

The base configuration allows an extensive range of intelligent modules which can be incorporated in order to match dynamic process requirements, simple DCS integration, and remote monitoring. Integrated within the pump is an intelligent drive system that performs ongoing rotor diagnostics, while giving an energy efficient platform for variable speed/pressure control. Plus, this method of rotor synchronization permits gearbox-free operation in which to run extremely quietly, and without any lubrication. SIHI Dry is available in 11 sizes for operation with explosive media, both internally and externally, and offer volumetric flow rates up to 1000 m³/h (589 cfm).

SIHI Dry Industrial CD line

SIHI Dry CD systems are designed for a broad range of industrial applications where an encapsulated, integrated pumps system design is required. Vertically oriented, and self-draining, makes the SIHI Dry ideal for industrial process where there is a high possibility of solids being carried over into the pump. Stand alone capacity ranges from 100 up to 1500 m³/h (60 up to 900 cfm), and can be increased dramatically by combining with SIHI  Boost. Integrated within the pump is the intelligent drive system that performs ongoing rotor diagnostics, while giving an energy-efficient platform for variable speed/pressure control.

Moreover, this method of rotor synchronization permits gearbox-free operation in which to run extremely quietly, and without any lubrication. Continual torque monitoring is another feature of the SIHI Dry design, whereby speed can be automatically adjusted in which to accommodate solids carry-over.

SIHI Dry Industrial GD line

SIHI Dry GD-S450 and GD-S650 vacuum pumps are designed specifically for non-classified general industrial applications. Unlike conventional twin-screw vacuum pumps, these extremely quiet, durable systems function without lubricating fluids or sealing oils, and as a result, do not use costly mechanical seals. In addition to eliminating your acquisition and disposal costs for these fluids, this non-contacting, non-wearing design minimizes maintenance costs and downtime while improving service life and overall efficiency. These benefits are made possible with high-speed motors that eliminate the need for a gearbox.


The key to the SIHI Dry pumps’ dry-running design is that their screws are individually driven, VFD-controlled and electronically synchronized, rather than the conventional “master-slave” drive arrangement with a gearbox. This innovative design eliminates the need for sealing and lubricating fluids and enables numerous operational benefits.


SIHI Dry GD-S450and GD-S650 vacuum pumps can be oriented horizontally or vertically. Both mounting options feature a top-down process flow that uses gravity to help drain process carryover from the pump chamber to the discharge port.

SIHI Boost CL line

SIHI Boost CL Vacuum systems have been developed for the requirements of industrial applications in fine vacuum pressure range. The compact skid consists of a SIHI Boost Screw Booster Vacuum Pump combined with a Liquid Ring Vacuum Backing Pump.

Particles from process carry over are being washed out in the Liquid Ring Vacuum Pump which acts like a scrubber in order to provide a pre-cleaned discharge flow.
